With a death dog and gets saved by Sebastian who takes her back to the palace, heals her, and explains that in order for her to stay she needs to pretend toīe one of the brides… this is strangely familiar…I would take Maxon over Sebastian any day. Brie doesn’t trust him and proceeds to run away again! She ends up in a fight Turns out Finn is from the UnseelieĬourt and the nephew of King Mordeus, Finn is the rightful heir to the throne. She returns back to the Seelie courtĪnd finds Sebastian the mage next door from earlier, except he’s Fae now and acting weird! She proceeds to find a portal that will lead She enlists the help of the house goblin who is obsessed with her hair and has to give up locks of hair for information/help in return. Well now she has to go to the ball to get her sister back! You know, her sister is being sold to a Fae King… WHAT what just happened that was a little quick. She goes to talk to the mage and next thing To find a human bride! There’s also this mage she lives next door to, and they kinda have a thing for each other. And she had to attend a ball! 🙄 She doesn't want to go to the ball cuz she's very muchĪgainst the Fae and thinks them to be evil, plus this ball is being hosted for the prince Or in this case aunt, and the two evil sisters, in this case cousins. And yes I can see how that kinda fits, but I feel like it started more like Cinderella, I mean she had the evil stepmother, This is the first book I’ve read by this author and the only reason I read it was because it was marketed as “Cruel Prince meets A Court of Thorns and Roses”
